Volunteering Project

Offers a placement finding service to anyone wishing to undertake voluntary work. This service is provided by Disablement Association of Barking and Dagenham. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the volunteering team directly.

Disablement Association of Barking and Dagenham also provide an employability service for unemployed IB recipients and people with disabilities across Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge and Havering. This service consists of one to one support, CV building, motivational and work focused training leading to transition into employment.

This project recruits and trains volunteers from the community to act as mentors to people with mental health problems. This service is provided by Carers of Barking and Dagenham.


Volunteering in day service programme

Recruits, trains and places community volunteers within local mental health day services, assisting centre users to access a wide range of facilities within the local community which they may not have used previously. This service is provided by Tulip.
