The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has notified the Trust of an upcoming inspection of four of our core services.

Under the revised inspection process, the CQC are now undertaking short-term comprehensive inspections.

A team of CQC inspectors will visit four of our core services between 15 and 17 August 2017.

The four core services they will visit are:

  • Older people’s mental health inpatient services
  • Adults of working age mental health inpatient services
  • Brookside Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit and our new Young People’s Home Treatment Team
  • Emotional Wellbeing Mental Health Services (EWMHS) in Essex.

As part of the CQC’s approach to service user and carer feedback there will be CQC Comment Boxes available across these four core service sites in order for service users and carers to anonymously share their views.

We will keep you updated with regards to any outcomes from the inspection and we anticipate further inspections to our other core services over the coming months.
