The NELFT Ethnic Minority Network (EMN) and the general staff body are not only dedicated to providing the best care to our patients\clients, we are also committed to supporting the work of our partner agencies in addressing the needs of our local communities. To this end, the EMN will be holding a sponsored walk on Sunday 15 October at 10am from Barking to Ilford to raise funds for the CAMHS Youth Offending Services.
The CAMHS Youth offending service (YOS) is a specialist service for young people currently being supervised by the local authority youth offending service. There are four CAMHS YOS team in NELFT and they are based in Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, Havering and Waltham Forest.
The CAMHS YOS provides a counselling service to young people in their borough, using different approaches, like sport, to meet the varying needs of the young person. The team works alongside other professionals, including teachers, doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, social workers and family therapists.
The youth of today are the leaders for the tomorrow, and we would like to give them the best chance for a brighter future. If you would like to support the EMN in raising funds for such a worthy cause, then please join us by signing up for the walk on Event Brite.
