Nursing Practice Facilitation

The Practice Facilitators work to ensure that pre-registered Nurses and newly qualified Nurses receive enough support to enable them to deliver high quality care to Service Users and Carers. They also support experienced Nurses who carry out the role of mentoring students and supervising newly qualified staff. The Practice Facilitators work in collaboration with London South Bank University as well as the NELFT training and development department. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the Trust satisfies the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in relation to Nurse Training and Preceptorship.
