The Trust also provides a range of specialist services – including eating disorders, personality disorders and mental health services for deaf children and adults – on a national basis. The Trust was the first in the world to develop the Recovery College model. Over the next 5 years the Trust will invest £160m in two brand new state-of-the-art mental health hospitals in south west London. The Trust works in partnership with colleagues in primary care, local authorities and the non-statutory sector to: promote mental health and improve awareness of its importance; support people with mental health problems and their families; provide care and treatment to the highest standards and help schools and employers challenge stigma surrounding mental health.
