Nafsiyat is a charity providing therapy and counselling to people from a range of cultural backgrounds. All services are provided by a diverse and multi-cultural team. PACE is the mental health charity promoting the emotional well-being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community. The group offer mutual support and information to people in the Edgware area. Look Ahead provides specialist support and care services to people with a variety of needs. It has been supporting people across London and the South East for almost forty years. The Psychiatry Research Trust raises funds for research into all aspects of mental illness and brain disorder undertaken at the Institute of Psychiatry and its associated Bethlem Royal and Maudsley Hospitals, and has a special interest in developing the researchers of tomorrow. This group is open to anyone who has a brother or sister with a mental illness. The group is open to people 18 and over. Rethink Merton and Sutton Branch holds meetings on the last Tuesday of the month from 7.30pm. In alternate months the meeting is either a discussion for carers only, or a joint meeting for carers and users to which we invite speakers. The Wimbledon Group meet every Wednesday evening from 5pm to 8pm and aim to provide support for people recovering from mental illness, who are or have been under a Community Mental Health Team.
