You will be part of a multi-professional workforce that will significantly increase access to treatment for people with depression, anxiety and other common mental health conditions, within a Primary Care setting.
Our teams are supportive and friendly. Clinicians are in control of their caseload and they manage it with support from the Seniors team. Caseloads are managed with a cut off of point for maximum clients. We offer regular supervision and regular CPD events. flexible working and agile working arrangements are available.
NELFT IAPT services are third wave sites that provide psychological therapy within the standards of the stepped care model i.e. Step 2 (Low intensity) and step 3 (High Intensity).
NELFT is committed to the four IAPT services and the trust is seeking to employ motivated staff to contribute to the success of these services. We are looking to recruit staff to support our expanding IAPT services.
We are looking for applicants who have enthusiasm for working in a primary care setting, who are adaptable; enjoy variety, can work independently as well as understanding the importance of team working.

Band 8a Talking Therapies Senior Practitioner
If you have been offered an interview already, please arrive as you have been instructed. Please allow around 90 minutes for your interaction with us which will include:
- Face to face interview and online assesment
If you have registered and are attending the event but have had no formal communication from us, there may be the opportunity to be interviewed on the day (if you meet the criteria and interview slots are available). Pre-arranged interviews will take place throughout the day until 4pm
To support this process please bring:
- A copy of your CV.
- 3 forms of ID documents (e.g. passport, proof of address, and UK driving licence).
