A school nurse from Dagenham has been recognised by the North East London Foundation Trust for her exemplary work in safeguarding young people.

Titilayo Idowu won in the Working in the Partnership category at the Make a Difference Awards at NELFT last month.

With local health and care services remaining under severe pressure, the upcoming Easter holiday (7-10 April) followed by industrial action by junior doctors (11-15 April), people are being encouraged to be prepared and know what to do if they or a family member is unwell.

Due to industrial action taking place from 7am on Tuesday 11 April to 7am on Saturday 15 April, some routine and non-urgent appointments will be postponed.

As the rising cost of living continues to impact staff at NELFT, we organised a marketplace event, along with a free health check for eligible colleagues. The event was  part of our Essex Working Well Accreditation and organised by the. Staff Wellbeing and Benefits Team.
