My name is Ian Jefferiss. I am a 63 year old retired primary school teacher who has lived in Havering for many decades. I accessed help through NELFT myself as a service user with mental health services. Subsequently, I have been asked to represent client users in a variety of ways such as interviews, talks and committees. In addition I have acted as an advocate on behalf of my autistic son and elderly parents. I have had much from the NHS and wish to use retirement to give back.
