Jogga Singh Teidy
I have lived in East London since the late 70’s as a student, met my wife, settled and bought up two children, Jonathan and Sharlotte. I qualified as a Registered Nurse and have worked for the NHS, Social
Services and London Ambulance. I have been an agency nurse and college lecturer as well as becoming a director/secretary in financial services.
I have served as a lay visitor/police panel, appointed by the Home Secretary. I became a Governor to help support staff and patients to receive the very best service. I am serving a second term as Governor at NELFT and enjoyed getting to know so many staff and good work they are doing in difficult of time. I am looking to become an MP to change the policies of the present government which has demised our public sector services and staff.
I am member of the Electoral Reform Society and The Labour Party and very active in canvassing and debates to improve the lives of all our British people. I have supported NHS Rallies and attended Parliament on number debates. I held a lead over a long time on Labour Leader Board as debater, until the site was recently discontinued/moved.
My interests are keep fit and writing, having authored and Kindled an e- book, along with my work being published by the United Nations and in several poetry books. I am Newham Active and street links volunteer which helps homeless people. I volunteered in the 2012 London Olympics.
