Reflective Reading for NMC Revalidation
Hello nurses. Did you know: You can get credit towards your revalidation for reading a short article and discussing it with colleagues!
Aubrey Keep Library is running reflective reading sessions just for you to help you achieve revalidation.
Your task:
- Read a short article in your own time
- Attend the session and participate in a group discussion
Your reward:
- Two hours of CPD time
- Certificate of attendance
- One of your five reflective accounts for your NMC revalidation portfolio
Please see below for the schedule of upcoming reflective reading group sessions. To book your place please email to Aubrey Keep Library, at library@nelft.nhs.uk. Articles can be accessed with your NHS OpenAthens account but we can also email them to you.
NEW for 2018: You can now take part in all our Reflective Reading sessions remotely, via WebEx online conference. Just click the "Register for WebEx" next to the session you want to attend remotely and fill in your name and email address to be able to take part.
To take part in an online conference, you will need:
- A computer (desktop or laptop)
- A telephone (mobile or landline) for calling in, or a headset for your computer if calling in via computer
- An internet connection
To book your place for taking part in person, please email Lisa Burscheidt, Clinical Librarian, at lisa.burscheidt@nelft.nhs.uk.
Articles can be accessed with your NHS OpenAthens account but Lisa can also email them to you.
