CAMHS Service Lead

My name is Diana and I have been the service lead for Havering CAMHS since June 2016. Before that, I was the clinical specialist nurse for three years. I have over 15 years’ experience working in CAMHS.

 

 

 

Clinical Psychologists

Susan HansenMy name is Susan Hansen.  I am a Clinical Psychologist with 18 years’ experience working with families.  I work with children and families who are experiencing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Autism Spectrum Disorder.  I use different ways of working, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).  I am fortunate to work with an immensely talented and generous team.

Alison BatesMy name is Alison Bates and I am a clinical psychologist here at Havering CAMHS. I work with children and families who are experiencing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Autism Spectrum Disorder.  I use different ways of working, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).  I am fortunate to work with an immensely talented and generous team.

 

 

 

Family Therapists

Tony FergusonHi, my name is Tony Ferguson. I am a Family Therapist here at the Acorn Centre, working with my colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and other psychological therapists. I am one of the longest serving members of the team here in Havering.  I work with children, young people and their families where dilemmas around emotional, behavioural and neuro-developmental difficulties exist.  I look forward to joining you in thinking about making a difference. 

Liz EganHi, my name is Liz Egan. I am a family therapist with many years’ experience working with children & families with a range of emotional, social & mental health issues. I work with young people, their parents & other important relationships in their life such as school, their wider family & friendships. I get support for the work I do from the rest of the CAMHS team.

 

 

Lucy RobertsonHi, my name is Lucy Robertson-Ritchie. I am a Family Therapist and have worked here at Havering CAMHS since 2010. I work part time and run some therapeutic groups for children and young people with anxiety and low mood as well as other mental health issues. We try to help children and young people symptoms reduce by helping increase new possibilities and ways of relating to other people and reducing self-reliance.

 

 

STAR Workers

Mel AmatoMy name is Melissa Amato. I am a Support Time and Resilience worker (STAR Worker). I work with schools to identify existing support in the school and also any needs that CAMHS and other local services can help with, as well as directly working with children and their families who are experiencing a range of mental health problems.  I am fortunate enough to be a part of the multi-disciplinary team at Havering CAMHS.

 

 

 

Ifkar ArifinMy name is Ifkar Arifin. I am a Support Time and Resilience Worker (STAR Worker). I primarily work with children and young people to help them access support and external services. This can be youth clubs, sports centres, employment advice etc. I am at the centre of the wellbeing hub so I am here to ensure the emotion wellbeing of children and young people within Havering. I have a cluster of schools that I am allocated to support school staff with the emotional wellbeing of their students. I am fortunate enough to work in an innovative systemic approach in the borough.

 

Rebecca DonnMy name is Rebecca Donn I am a Support Time and Resilience Worker (STAR Worker) and your CAMHS practitioner in Havering. I work closely with schools and local services to identify existing support for Children and Young people to be able to signpost efficiently and am part of the Emotional Wellbeing Hub.  I also work directly with children and their families who are experiencing a range of mental health concerns.

 

 

 

Krystle My name is Krystle and I have worked in the caring industry for over 20 years, I am very passionate about my role and supporting other people.  I am currently a Support Time and Resilience Worker (STAR Worker) andyour CAMHS practitioner in Havering. My background is mainly Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.  I enjoy facilitating workshops and psycho educational courses.  I have worked with some amazing professionals over the past 20 years and I am looking forward to getting to know my new team.  I am always inspired and forever grateful to those who work with me and trust me to support them with the difficulties they are facing.

 

 

 

Primary Mental Health Team

Agnieszka DanielakMy name is Agnieszka Danielak and I am a primary mental health worker here at Havering CAMHS. I am a clinical psychologist by background. I work with children and families who are experiencing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Autism Spectrum Disorder.  I use different ways of working, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I sit just below tier 3 and a majority of the children I work with tend to have mild to moderate symptoms.

 

Michael MckenzieMy name is Michael Mckenzie and I am a primary mental health worker here at Havering CAMHS. My main role is to assist clinicians with their patients by doing QB tests and connors forms. I also have a caseload of patients that I see that have mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety, depression and wellbeing concerns.

 

 

 

Eileen SullvanMy name is Eileen Sullivan and I am a primary mental health worker at Havering CAMHS. I have been in this team for over 10 years and I have a lot of experiences working with children and families who are experiencing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Autism Spectrum Disorder.  I use different ways of working, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

 

 

 

 

Specialist CAMHS Doctors

Dr Manas SarkarMy name is Dr Manas Sarkar. I am a Consultant Child and adolescent psychiatrist with a 12 years’ experience in working with children and their families with mental health disorders. My area of special interest is neurodevelopmental disorders like Autism and ADHD but I have also worked with children suffering from Depression, OCD and psychosis. I am part of a special team who are all very talented and experienced in working with children and adolescents alongside their families.

 

Dr Hena VijayanMy name is Dr Hena Vijayan. I am a child and adolescent consultant psychiatrist, working in Havering CAMHS. I have 13 years’ experience of working with children, young people and their families. I see children with different mental health difficulties including ADHD, Autism, Depression, self-harm, anxiety, OCD etc. I can also prescribe medication if and when children/young people need them. I strive to work closely with you and your family to make a difference.

Dr Shazhad AslamMy name is Dr Shazhad Aslam and I am a specialist doctor here at Havering CAMHS. I have over 15 years experience working with children and adolescents. I do a lot of assessments, where I identify risk and what type of support would benefit the child and the family.

 

 

 

 

Psychotherapists

My name is Dominic Regan. I am a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with 14 years of experience working with children, parents, carers. .  I work with children and families who are experiencing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, challenging behaviour, intergenerational losses, attachment issues , post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Autism Spectrum Disorder. My work is psychodynamically orientated. I am supported by the high quality, multi-disciplinary team we have at Havering Camhs, and their humanity and wisdom.

 

 

Triage

Gladys OlatunjiHi, my name is Gladys Olatunji and I am a specialist clinical CAMHS nurse. I am the triage lead here are Havering CAMHS. In triage, we look at all referrals that are received in Havering CAMHS to assess their level of urgency and risk through telephone assessments. Our referrals come from GP’s, social workers, schools and professionals. The children and young people I assess have ranging mental health and emotional wellbeing concerns such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, ADHD to name a few.
