Jacqui Van Rossum is New Acting Chief Executive at NELFT

We are delighted to announce that as of 1 January 2022, Jacqui Van Rossum is our acting Chief Executive here at NELFT. Jacqui takes on this role following the departure of Professor Oliver Shanley OBE and steps into the position having been our Executive Director of Integrated Care for London.

Jacqui has a wealth of leadership experience and has been on the Board here at NELFT since 2010. She has worked for over 30 years in operational management across mental health and community services as well as acute and social care. She has been instrumental in the development of our strategy as an organisation, building strong partnerships and collaborations across the systems we work within.

Joe Fielder, Chair of NELFT, said:

“I am really pleased that Jacqui is our new acting Chief Executive. Her leadership and management experience, as well as her previous role as part of our Trust Board means she will be able to lead the Trust in these demanding yet exciting times. She is patient and staff focused, a compassionate leader and consistently demonstrates our NELFT values, so I know Jacqui is well placed to lead us forward as acting Chief Executive.”

Jacqui Van Rossum, acting Chief Executive, said “I am incredibly proud to take on the role of acting Chief Executive as I am passionate about the role we play here at NELFT in delivering the best quality, compassionate care to our patients, their loved ones and our local communities. I am looking forward to working, not only with colleagues across NELFT, but with our wider partners, to deliver innovative and integrated services in Essex, Kent and North East London.”
