Sue joined us in August 2019. She is a Non-Executive Director in Common for NELFT and Barking Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Sue is a qualified chartered accountant with more than 30 years’ experience in both the private and public sectors, including periods working within the NHS and local government. She has led large capital programmes, including the delivery of a number of new healthcare facilities within Barking, Dagenham, Havering and Brentwood, as well as leading a number of back-office services in local government, including ICT.

Sue chairs the Audit and Risk Committee for the Trust, is a member of the Finance and Investment Committee, and is the NED champion for the Barking and Dagenham locality, which is where she was born and brought up.
