Our Future Focus
Our Future Focus is the name of the programme of recovery work taking place across the Trust in relation to COVID-19.
- Our executive director lead for recovery is Jacqui Van Rossum, Executive Director of Integrated Care (London).
- Caroline O’Donnell is our Recovery Director and she is supporting the Trust to take forward the programme of recovery work.
Our Future Focus aims to support our services to re-establish following the first phase of response to COVID-19, ensuring that we capture and implement any learning about what worked well and what didn’t.
As a Trust we also need to ensure we are meeting the expectations of NHS England/ NHS Improvement as well as working with our local health and social care partners to ensure that we are able to run services that best support our patients while COVID-19 is still present in society.
We have established a number of working groups that will take forward key areas of recovery work including workforce, clinical models/ pathways, COVID-19 secure estates, finance and digital technology. All of these workstreams feed into the Our Future Focus Strategic Group which has been set up to provide clarity and direction for this work and to support our Executive Management Team and Trust Board to take decisions about the future direction for Trust services over the next 12-18 months.
The structure we have put in place to support the recovery work is aligned to our incident management team structure to enable us to be flexible should we need to step-up the incident management response in the future.
Implementing Phase 3 of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic
Since the beginning of July, we have been focusing on developing our response to the Phase 3 letter and associated guidance in relation to the implementation. This includes specific guidance for mental health planning which can be found below:
