Post registration
Working closely with our higher education partner, we provide a wide range of educational experiences to meet the placement requirements, identified by the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) to ensure quality post registration training for the following:
School nursing
Completion of this course leads to registration with the NMC as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse. Working closely with London South Bank University, Anglia Ruskin University and Greenwich University, we provide a wide range of educational experiences across NELFT with school nursing teams to support specialist community public health nursing students in obtaining registration with NMC. The following areas in NELFT provide placements: Barking and Dagenham, Basildon, Brentwood, Havering, Redbridge, Thurrock and Waltham Forest.

Health Visiting

District nursing
District Nurse training takes 1 year to complete. NELFT works closely with London South Bank University and Anglia Ruskin University to support students undertaking this course. We provide placements in the following areas Barking and Dagenham, Basildon, Brentwood, Havering, Redbridge, Thurrock and Waltham Forest.
