Elaine Waller

Elaine has worked in the NHS for the last 14 years coming from the private sector where she worked in a secretarial setting. She joined a clinical service where she worked for 5 years developing the administration processes and in time took the service forward onto an electronic system.
Elaine then moved on working as administrator being responsible for database collection, reporting of KPI’s, organising weight management, stop smoking and health check clinics. She has now been with the Quality Improvement Services for the last 5 years where QI has been developed and continues to enhance services within NELFT.
This is a new initiative within NELFT and Elaine is proud to be part of a team who have been instrumental in supporting teams and focusing on change ideas and quality improvement within NELFT. As a consequence of QI thinking Elaine is has now undertaken a QI project and trained as a QI Mentor.
“We can sit back and wait for change to happen, or we can try to make our own changes that result in improvement in our own situation”
