Roisin graduated as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2002 from Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh. She also holds a BSc (Hons) in Linguistic Science from the University of Ulster. Then she joined NELFT in 2008 after previously working in the London boroughs of Enfield and Newham.
Roisin worked as an Early Years Speech and Language Therapist in Barking and Dagenham for 11 years. During this time, she was also a Safeguarding Supervisor and completed investigations for NELFT, using Root Cause Analysis methodology. She was part of Cohort 5 of the NELFT QI Facilitator Programme in 2017, and graduated as a NELFT QI mentor in April 2018
Roisin joined the Quality Improvement Services on secondment in November 2018, and has been a permanent team member since July 2019. She finds it extremely rewarding to share QI methodology with colleagues both inside and outside the organisation, and to support others to take ownership of the changes they want to see in their teams and systems.
