Domiciliary phlebotomy service

The service provides domiciliary blood testing for housebound patients in the Basildon, Brentwood and Thurrock geographical area for patients aged 18 and over. Referrals are accepted from the Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital's haematology service and from local GP’s. It also provides booked blood test appointments at Brentwood community hospital (Mon-Fri 08.00-16.00), booked via the Single Point of Access blood test booking line on 0300 300 1715, and a walk in clinic in Thurrock Hospital (Mon-Fri 09:00-12.00) (no bookings). Both clinics are closed on all Bank Holidays.
