The service has regular spinal multidisciplinary team meetings with consultants from neurosurgery and pain management.

Referrals

Referrals will be accepted from GP practices via E-referrals Service.

Criteria: Patients aged over 16 years who are registered with a GP in Havering.

Exclusions:

• Patients whose condition is of non-musculoskeletal origin.
• Patients who require surgery with radiological evidence of pathology.
• Patients who require surgery for conditions such as Dupuytren’s contracture, excision of lumps/cysts
• Patients who have seen an orthopaedic consultant for the same problem in the past 12 months.
