We are a team of nurses, support workers and administration staff, based at the Child and Family Centre in Barking. We support the delivery of the BCG vaccination to four London Boroughs, Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest.

Service Information

Neonatal BCG vaccinations are offered to infants and children from birth up to the age of 5 years 364 days, living within Barking and Dagenham, Waltham Forest and Havering and Redbridge. This is a targeted service for infants and children that meet the NHS England criteria.

Referral information

Referrals are made from the maternity units to the team; however, other referral routes are available from the Health Visiting Service and from the GP.
