Jane joins NELFT following a distinguished career in nursing leadership and healthcare management. After training as a nurse in Oxford, Jane progressed from health visitor to Regional Chief Nurse for London at NHS England, where she played a key role in shaping nursing practice and improving patient care across the capital, including leading London’s nursing workforce through the Covid-19 pandemic.

Jane has held numerous leadership roles across provider and commissioning organisations, including NHS England and Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Jane has always been committed to involving patients, service users, the public and clinicians in the development and improvement of health services, as well as making integrated community-based services a reality.

In 2023, Jane was awarded an MBE for her services to nursing and the NHS.
