Children and Young People Early Intervention Mental Health Services

CYP MHEIS is an easy to access early intervention emotional wellbeing service for children and young people aged from age 10-18 years (up to 25-years of age if SEND).

The service will provide emotional support through a range of interventions suited to the individual needs of children and young people. The aim is to improve emotional wellbeing, emotional intelligence, resilience and self-esteem for children, young people, their families and carers and develop community resilience.

Children and young people may be able to access this service for a range of problems:

  • Stress
  • Panic attacks
  • Bullying
  • Substance misuse
  • Low confidence and self esteem
  • Transition
  • Sleep problems
  • Peer relationships
  • Family relationships
  • Anger and challenging behaviour
  • Low level disordered eating
  • Bereavement
  • Child carers
  • Support to parents, carers, guardians and other significant adults involved in the care of children and young people covered in the scope of the service.
