Our impact

The entire Trust has felt the positive impact of donations, fundraising and gifts in wills from our kind and thoughtful supporters.

Brookside Unit - School holidays activities

Donations were used to help facilitate a range of activities during the half term Holidays, as part of the therapeutic programme run at Brookside, within the inpatient unit.

Through activities funded by the Health Way Foundation, young people had access to creative, self-care and sensory sessions that made an impact on their ability to self-regulate and attend to their emotional and physical needs more independently.

Kent and Medway Adolescent Hospital - School holidays activities

Funded by donations, the team at the Kent and Medway Adolescent Hospital were able to provide a full programme of activities across all school holidays for the young people.

The activities kept the young people occupied through an enhanced timetable, with activies such as baking, games, community access trips and much more! This provided young people with a space to play, have fun and engage in meaningful occupations, as well as allowing them to delvop life skills such as teamwork, better communication skills, ADL independence and more.
