Bespoke Quality Improvement Facilitator Training

The Quality Improvement (QI) team delivered a bespoke facilitator programme for the Pharmacy service at NELFT, tailored to support service improvement through structured facilitation. The programme consisted of six teaching and learning sessions spread over nine months. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting how the customised approach empowered teams to test change ideas and drive meaningful improvements.

At the graduation ceremony, newly trained QI facilitators had the opportunity to showcase their work to peers. Over the course of the programme, five distinct projects were developed, each targeting a specific area within the Pharmacy service for enhancement.

Explore the posters below to learn more about each of these impactful projects:

Huge congratulations to all our graduates!

Fatimat Aigbekaen, Consultant Pathway Pharmacist, reflects:

The QI bespoke training for pharmacy team was enlightening, empowering, and professionally rewarding. It fostered a collaborative and structured environment that was both educational and engaging. Notably, from the feedback received the absence of descriptors such as “challenging” or “frustrating” underscores the overwhelmingly positive nature of the experience. This reflects the satisfaction of participants seeing measurable improvements in service delivery, driven by clinician-led ideas. Overall, the process reinforced the value of quality improvement in enhancing patient care and pharmacy clinical practice.
