The NELFT Communications Team is responsible for media relations on behalf of NELFT NHS Foundation Trust.
We are happy to respond to requests from journalists and aim to work proactively, efficiently and effectively with all media.
We respond to requests to interview health professionals, researchers and clinical experts throughout the organisation, as well as raising awareness, promoting campaigns and producing web content.
If you have a media request the NELFT Communications Team is the first point of contact.
However, we also have a duty to our service users, patients and staff and therefore reserve the right to decline media requests if there is any potential conflict with the interests of the organisation.
If you have a media enquiry, would like more information about a news item or press release, please contact the NELFT communications team.
During office hours, all media enquiries should be directed to the NELFT Communications Team where they will be managed appropriately. This is particularly important in ensuring that information given about NELFT is accurate, consistent and up to date.
