We hope to spend time with 8 people who have dementia. We will also talk with 15 to 20 people who have dementia and can talk with us. We will also talk to 15 to 20 people who take care of people with dementia.
Why is it important? We want to find better ways to take care of people with dementia. This means making their homes and places where they live more pleasant and special for their culture. If someone likes certain foods or music from their country, we want to include these in their care. We also want to make better plans to help people with dementia when they go out, in their neighbourhood. This way, they can feel safe and happy.
