What to do if you are concerned about someone's use of drug and/or alcohol

ASK 

• Do you or someone you know use opioids or any other street/illicit drugs?
• Do you know anyone who is using/over using alcohol to cope ?

ADVISE

• More drug-related deaths are happening due to the contamination of heroin and a wide range of other illicit/street drugs with synthetic opioids.
• Synthetic opioids are very dangerous and carry a high risk of overdose. People who use any illicit drugs are at risk.
• Naloxone is a medication that reverses the effect of an overdose from opioids. It is easy to carry and use and can save a life during opiate overdose.
