Recovery college courses

Waltham Forest recovery college

We want you to have a positive experience with us at the recovery college. Therefore your feedback is valuable to us, so we will ask you to complete a simple evaluation form at the end of each course, where you will have the opportunity to make comments or suggestions, so we can continue to improve our service.

We are interested in any ideas or suggestions for further courses.

Individual learning plan

We offer information and guidance about our courses and their content. Together we will go through an individual learning plan (ILP) at the start of your learning with us and at regular intervals.

The ILP will help you to identify your strengths and goals and choose the best courses for you.

Learning support

Within the individual learning plan (ILP) there is also an opportunity to discuss any learning support needs you may have, from an educational or mental health perspective so that we know how best to support you.

Progression

Throughout the course, we will provide you with information on community courses and activities available to you within the borough.

With the confidence and skills you learn from the recovery college, you may feel better equipped to consider adult education courses, further training, volunteering or exploring employment opportunities.

How to apply

Complete an enrolment form (at right hand side of page) indicating your choice of course, dates and venue to book your place. Course details can be found on the 'Recovery courses' page.
