Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia (FM) is a long term condition that causes pain in multiple areas of the body. There are usually other symptoms which are associated with FM and differ from person to person. Symptoms can include fatigue, muscle stiffness, increased sensitivity, headaches, irritable bowels and poor quality of sleep. The condition is not life threatening and does not cause damage to the body. However it can impact a person’s day-to-day life in various ways.

Fibromyalgia NHS UK

UK Fibromyalgia  supports people with FM and has been trying to raise awareness of the condition with the British government. They also produce a monthly FM magazine
