Make a difference
Make A Difference Annual Awards
The Make a Difference Award is a monthly award that recognises a member of staff who has gone above and beyond what is ordinarily expected of them to deliver great care for our patients. If your nomination is successful your nominated professional or team will be presented with a Make a Difference badge and certificate by their managers and they will also be put forward to be part of the annual awards event which means they could win vouchers and a trophy.
Anyone can nominate a member of staff. So, if there is someone who made a difference to the care you or a loved one received, let us know! Even being nominated can mean so much to our staff.

Make a difference monthly process
Once you have completed the nomination form at the end of this page, it will be processed by our team and it will go through a HR check to ensure the person being nominated can be part of the process.
If the person you are nominating does not work for NELFT but for a partnership organisation who works closely with us, please provide their line managers details, so that we can ensure the HR check is still completed.
When we receive the authorisation back from HR, which will be at the beginning of the month, the ICDs will receive a list of staff who have Made a difference in their directorate and they will then invite their staff members to their directorate and present them with a Make a difference certificate and badge.
