On Saturday 6 December, Christmas lights were switched on by Julia Lopez MP at St George’s Health and Wellbeing Hub in Havering as the local community gathered in celebration of the hub’s first anniversary as a transformative ‘one-stop-shop' in the NHS.

The hub offers immediate access to professional and lived experience support and serves as an alternative to attending local accident and emergency departments.

The North London Forensic Collaborative is leading a new Integrated Non-Custodial Service across the boroughs of North London, which will include Liaison and Diversion in all police custody suites, including Metropolitan, City of London, British Transport Police and Marine Policing unit in addition to Magistrates and Crown Courts. The pathway of services will also include a new Primary Care Men’s Mental Health Treatment Requirement Service. This will for the first time in London, provide Probation with a greater range of community order options.

Colleagues at Marigold Ward at Meadow Court Rehabilitation Unit in Goodmayes had the privilege of caring for Mrs Parmar, their oldest patient yet at the incredible age of 107 years. She quickly became a much-loved part of the Marigold family, throughout her stay on the ward for stroke rehabilitation.
