This week (5-11 February), NELFT celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week by highlighting what services are available to children and young people in schools.

The theme for this year’s LGBT+ History Month is Medicine – #UnderTheScope. The theme celebrates LGBT+ peoples’ contribution to the field of Medicine and Healthcare, both historically and today.

As part of the collaboration between three key providers of community health services across Mid and South Essex (MSE), the virtual wards programme has seen some great outcomes for service users over the last year.

Tissue viability services in mid and south Essex are provided by Provide Health (Provide) for mid Essex, Essex Partnership University Trust (EPUT) for south-east Essex, and North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) for Basildon, Brentwood, and Thurrock. Together, they form the Mid and South Essex Community Collaborative (MSECC) Tissue Viability team.

The North East London NHS Foundation Trust has launched ‘We are NELFT’ a new video showcasing the wide range of career opportunities available as part of a recruitment drive to attract candidates to join high-performing NHS teams making a difference in communities across Essex, Kent and Medway, and North East London.
