NELFT launches innovative partnership with UEL to recruit student nurses and allied health professionals

The North East London Foundation Trust and the University of East London have launched an innovative partnership to help students in healthcare professions gain valuable experience in entry level NHS jobs.

The partnership offers flexible work opportunities on the NELFT Staff Bank to those studying to qualify in nursing or allied health professions, and the ability to work around their studies and gain valuable experience in a variety of clinical settings.

Waltham Forest nurse honoured by NELFT

A community nurse from Waltham Forest has been recognised by the NELFT for working tirelessly to ensure people with learning disabilities were vaccinated against COVID-19.

Mohammad Soobhun won the Chair’s Special Recognition award and was highly commended in the Outstanding Achievement category at the Make a Difference Awards last month.
