Suggestions for things you might like to bring with you:

• At least two sets of day clothing
• A few sets of underwear
• Comb or hairbrush
• Outside shoes
• Nightwear and slippers
• Toiletries, such as tooth paste and brush, soap, perfume or after shave, wet wipes, shampoo, deodorant and shaving items (razorblades will be kept safely by staff)
• Coat
• Underwear
• Small change for the payphone
• Notebook and pen
• Towels
• Small snacks
• Books or magazines
• Change for the pay phone
• Mobile phone and charger

What not to bring:

• Alcohol
• Non-prescribed or Illicit drugs. If illegal drugs are found on you, they will be taken away and disposed of. The police may be informed
• Jewellery and valuables, or more money than you need for routine purchases
• Glass bottles
• Plastic bags
• Sharp objects, such as knives, nail clippers or cutlery
