CHS Rehabilitation ward

Winter Lily ward is a provision for winter pressure beds in an inpatient ward based within Meadow Court, Goodmayes hospital providing physical health rehabilitation and care to patients over the age of 18 with intermediate care rehabilitation needs.   Patients benefit from individualised care and a range of rehabilitative services.  Winter Lily ward works with patients to build endurance, stamina, strength to foster independence and to increase mobility. The ward also facilitates early discharge from hospital and prevents unnecessary admission to acute hospitals.

Patients receive treatment from a multi-disciplinary team under the direction of consultant geriatrician. The team consists of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, doctors, dieticians and social workers. Families/carers of patients are encouraged to participate in the rehabilitation process.

Opening times:   The inpatient facility is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day
