5K Your Way - the Goodmayes Hospital Run Club

Staff, service users and carers are invited to join 5K Your Way – the Goodmayes Hospital Run Club, a friendly and inclusive way to get moving together.

The run club is open to everyone, whether you prefer to run, walk, or do a mix of both.

There’s no pressure to keep up, it’s a mixed ability group – the focus is on wellbeing, connection and taking part at your own pace.

Everyone is welcome – just turn up and take part your way.

The Route

The route takes us from Goodmayes through to Seven Kings Park and back, using a two‑lap loop of the park, with the option to complete just one lap if preferred.

One lap (2.5k) typically takes around 15–20 minutes to run, 25–35 minutes to jog, or 30–45 minutes to walk, while the full 5k usually takes around 30–35 minutes to run, 45–60 minutes to jog, or 60–90 minutes to walk.

What you need

Comfortable clothing, footwear and a water bottle.
