NELFT appoints Chief Medical Officer

NELFT is pleased to announce the appointment of Chief Medical Officer, Dr Hélène Brown.

With more than 35 years’ experience in the NHS, including two decades as a London GP, Dr Hélène Brown brings extensive clinical and system leadership experience to this role.

As Chief Medical Officer, Hélène provides executive leadership for clinical quality, patient safety, medical education and professional standards. She is responsible for the ongoing development and support of doctors within NELFT, and for strengthening research, innovation and improvement as core components of high-quality care. She works closely with nursing, allied health, psychological, social work and corporate leaders to support strong multidisciplinary leadership and collaboration across the organisation.

Dr Hélène Brown, Chief Medical Officer at NELFT, said:
