NELFT finalists at the Nursing Times Workforce Awards for Best International Recruitment Experience
The North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) & NEU Professionals were finalists at the Nursing Times Workforce Awards on the 21st November 2023.
The Trust was shortlisted in the category of ‘Best International Recruitment Experience’ for its mental health nurse recruitment campaign earlier this year.
The event took place at the Hilton London Metropole and members of the team from NELFT attended. The awards brought together the nursing community to shine a light on the brightest talent in the profession and recognise those making nursing innovative, patient-focused and inclusive.
NELFT and NEU’s campaign adopted a holistic approach focusing on innovative sourcing strategies and strengthening the sourcing country’s healthcare system thus boosting numbers of prospective staff in the long-term. The campaign also offered candidates a career development pathway and pastoral care resulting in high number of friends recommendations.
