NELFT’s Communications team has been shortlisted for the Corporate Services award at this year's Unsung Hero Awards.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony taking place at the iconic Manchester Hilton on the Friday 15th March 2024.

Carrie-Ann Wade, Director of communications, engagement, and charitable funds, said:

“Everyone in the NHS works hard in challenging circumstances and sometimes the work of corporate services like ours can be overlooked. We are all here to help deliver better patient outcomes and help our colleagues deliver high quality care.

"This recognition for our communications and engagement team means a lot. The team works hard to deliver the best possible communications support to our services for the benefit of our patients so being shortlisted is a real boost for the team. I’m so proud of my colleagues who are all brilliant communications professionals.”

The awards bring together the groups of people in the NHS who often go un-noticed and to celebrate their achievements.

Nominations were open to entries from individuals and teams, or from those who wish to highlight non-medical/non-clinical NHS staff members who they believe deserves recognition.
