The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced that resident doctors (formerly known as junior doctors) will take part in strike action from Friday 25 July 2025 to Wednesday 30 July 2025.
To help us safely manage the impact of the industrial action we may need to postpone some appointments and procedures.
We'll contact you directly if your care or your child's care is affected to rearrange your appointment as quickly as possible. If you do not hear from us, please attend your appointment as usual.
We apologise in advance to anyone impacted. These measures have been taken to ensure we can provide the safest care to those who need it the most.
Advice to patients:
If you currently receive a service from a team at NELFT, such as a local community mental health team (including CAMHS) or psychiatrist, then you can make contact with them directly during office hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
