Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust (MSEFT) has been working with partners across the Integrated Care System to put forward a bid for funding for a Community Diagnostic Centre.

The centre will offer a range of services including X-ray, ultrasound, CT scans, MRIs, heart and lung checks, blood tests.

MSEFT has successfully secured the necessary funding to establish this much needed centre which is expected to open its doors by spring 2024.

This good news will also provide better access to the Thurrock Community Hospital site, increased parking and improve on the existing estate.

MSEFT will be working closely with local estates teams to minimise disruption to staff.
