NELFT Trust Board
The NELFT NHS Foundation Trust Board of Directors has 13 voting members. Seven members, including the Chair, are non-executive members. They are appointed by the Council of Governors to provide an independent view to the work of the Board. Six members, including the Chief Executive, are executive members. They are in charge of the day-to-day running of the Trust.
Board meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every other month in the Boardroom,Trust Head Office, CEME Centre – West Wing, Marsh Way, Rainham, Essex, RM13 8GQ. Board papers are available a week prior to the Board meeting and can be viewed here: Board papers

Paul Calaminus
Paul Calaminus, Chief Executive
Paul graduated from Oxford University in 1995.
Paul joined the NHS management training scheme in 1995, completing his training in the Oxford and Anglia regions. He has worked as a Service Director in South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and then Chief Operating Officer at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust.
Paul joined ELFT in March 2017 as the Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Deputy Chief Executive in December 2019, interim Chief Executive in October 2020, and Chief Executive in March 2021. Paul moved to NELFT on 21 August 2023 to take up the Chief Executive position.
