Library books and entrance door to library

E-journals

If you are on a NELFT networked computer, you will be able to access most of our e-journals without having to log in. If you are accessing from home or elsewhere you will need to follow the instructions below.

All NHS OpenAthens account holders have full text access to thousands of journals online.

To access journals via Browzine go to BrowZine , click the red “Choose library” button then start typing and select “North East London NHS Foundation Trust”. You will only need to do that once. You can then search by journal title.

From here onwards precise instructions vary according to journal title and supplier.

You may have to click on another “Login via OpenAthens” button / link before you get to your journal. This happens with Proquest and BMJ journals.

If you have any problems accessing e-journals that can't be solved with the help available on this page, please contact the NELFT Library and Knowledge Service Team.

If you want a copy of an article that is not available full text online, contact the NELFT Library and Knowledge Service Team and ask to order a copy via the document supply service. Please note that some articles may incur a charge.
