Your health visitor will weigh your baby at the new birth visit, 6–8-week visit, 1 year and 2-year development checks.

If in between these times you are concerned about your baby’s weight gain or growth you can call the duty desk on 0300 300 1635 to request a clinic appointment.

To keep you, your baby, and our staff safe, our clinics are operating on an appointment only basis (allowing us to sanitise and clean in between each family). Each appointment is for 10 minutes to weight and plot onto your red book. Please contact your allocated health visitor or the duty desk to discuss any concerns you may have.
