Electronic Secondary School Health Drop-in
The School Health Team offer student drop-ins to every Thurrock Secondary School where young people can receive information, advice and support about anything health related. For example young people commonly attend drop-ins for the following reasons:
- Emotional wellbeing/mental health
- Sexual health and contraception (as part of C-Card Scheme)
- Healthy lifestyle advice (healthy balanced diet & being more physically active)
- Drug and/or alcohol misuse
- Smoking cessation
‘E-Drop-In’ is currently available to any student attending a Thurrock secondary school or sixth form. It provides young people with an electronic alternative to accessing the conventional (in-person) school drop-in. So if you don’t want to be seen walking into the School Health office or an ‘in-person’ drop-in isn’t available at your school, this is the best way for you to get health support from us!
It’s quick and easy! Just complete the form on this page so that a member of the School Health team can get in contact with you for more information and if necessary plan to meet you either in school, a health clinic or community setting. Whatever suits you best. A member of the team will get back to you within one working day.
The School Health team are completely non-judgemental and are qualified professionals.
Both the E-Drop-in and School Drop-in services are confidential
